and greetings from England, United Kingdom,May you please advise, if you may have a suitable Stereo Volume pedal available for my requirements, to use with my 19 Rack mount, Lexicon Signature 284 Class A Stereo Recording Amplifier and Direct source system, that I use as a live stereo Guitar rig?Lexicon Signature 284 recording/ direct amplifierThe stereo power amp in my Signature 284 uses two EL 84s in a Class A configuration. Its output power is rated at 3 Watts (RMS) per side. On Stage œBackline stereo sound controlI use my existing Ernie Ball 6165 Stereo Pan/Volume pedal in the (-20dB) œEffects Loop to control my on stage volume which runs from the 284s œSlave Outputs, via a Carvin DCM200L 2 x 100watts Stereo power amp, into 2 x 12inch œback line speaker cabinets.œOut Front Public Address mixing console stereo sound control In addition, I would also like to be able to, via a suitable Stereo Volume pedal, send the identical Stereo signal to the œout front PA system, from the (+4dB) balanced œRecording Outputs, into the œout front PA system mixing desk or recording console.Balanced - Unbalanced - Balanced? If, as I suspect, any recommended (+4dB) stereo volume pedal may be œunbalanced, please also advise a suitable DI Box to be placed œpost pedal, to reinstate the œbalanced state? Lexicon 284 Effects LoopThe Effects Loop my existing Ernie Ball 6165 Stereo Pan/Volume pedal runs in, is instrument level (-20dB instrument level) to allow use of stomp boxes or studio gear in the loop.Lexicon 284 Slave OutputsThe slave outputs carry post power amp signals attenuated to line level (+4dB,unbalanced). Their primary purpose is to provide a means of getting more on-stage volume for live use by driving a stereo slave power amplifier connected toguitar cabinets. As these outputs are derived from the power amp outputs, theycarry the voice and tone of the whole amp ” exactly as sent to the speakers.Connect the inputs of any high quality power amp (solid state or tube) to theseoutputs for a faithful (but louder) version of the Signature 284s sound.Lexicon 284 Recording OutputsThese outputs are post power amp signals attenuated down to line level (+4dB,balanced) and run through a unique recording compensation circuit thatsimulates the sound of two different speakers. The primary function of theseoutputs is to provide a direct feed that is the sonic equivalent of a pair of wellmiked speaker cabs to a PA system or a recording console. A separate switch, provided for each recording output selects Smooth (think 4-12 cab) or Bright(think 2-10 cab). A separate ground lift switch is provided for each recordingoutput.I hope you may be able to assist please?Kindest and yours sincerely,Ian McIlwraith
