Established in 2017, the company has deep roots in the Cocoa industry as it emanated from Sunny Owo ventures Nigeria Limited, a long-standing cocoa sourcing company with over 20 years of business activities in Ondo-State, Nigeria. At SGC, we originate approximately 35,000 Metric Tonnes of Cocoa beans equivalent annually. Our cocoa beans are of high quality and for decades, we have sourced only the best products from our community of over two hundred and fifty (250) local farmers in Ondo state, Oyo state, Ekiti state, Ogun state, Osun state, Edo and Cross River State, Nigeria. Leadership Team Our Leadership Team consists of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the agribusiness, food processing, and export sectors: Mr. Olasunkanmi Owoyemi – Chief Executive Officer (CEO), brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, global trade, and operations management. Under his guidance, SGC has expanded its footprint and solidified its reputation for quality and innovation. Mr. Rajvel Sadagopan - Head of Manufacturing Operations (HOM), responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including sourcing, logistics, and quality control. With over 25 years in FMCG/Foods Manufacturing Operations & Supply chain managements, he ensures the smooth and efficient execution of all our business activities. Mr. Amos Okemute - Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leads the company’s financial strategy and risk management, ensuring financial stability and scalability as we pursue growth in both local and international markets.
