A short introduction about me and the region. I am VVM Rao from Kakinada. Andhra Pradesh, India. Kakinada is in the midst of the Rice Bowl of India. This place is surrounded by over 3000 rice milling mills. A few of these mills have massive capacities of approximately one million tons per annum. Being an excellent region for procurement of finest quality basmati and non basmati rice including Parboiled varieties Kakinada has an excellent port for exporting to various countries around the world. In addition to Kakinada we have Visakhapatnam, Gangavaram, Krishnapatnam and Chennai ports in proximity to this rice growing area. These ports export huge volumes of rice both in break bulk and containers. I am also associating myself with mills from other parts of the country to ensure surplus availability of different varieties. In addition to Rice I am also engaged in Sugar, Wheat and Yellow Corn exports to various parts of the world. I am an alumnus of one of the world's most prestigious business schools. I have over 4 decades of experience at the highest levels in MNCs and large Indian conglomerates. Currently, I am on a sabbatical in my native place, Kakinada, enroute to my permanent relocation. To make my relocation meaningful and vibrant I have decided to enter Rice Exporting trade as a Procurement Intermediary to various exporters from India and importers around the world. In the process of establishing profitable contacts with exporters and importers, a few large enquiries were addressed to me and they are in the process of finalisation at various stages.
