I am a producer of iron oxide Fe3O3 & Fe3O4 (density: 3400 kg/m3 and granule size: 0.1 mm to 0.8 mm). It is a byproduct of an acid regeneration plant (ARP) with a fluidized bed reactor, and it is commonly used in industries like steel production to regenerate spent acid (such as hydrochloric acid) used in pickling processes. During acid regeneration, iron oxide (FeO₃) is produced as a by-product. Here's an overview of the process and the by-product utilization: 1. Overview of the Process: Input: The process begins with spent acid containing iron salts (e.g., FeCl₂). Reaction in the Fluidized Bed Reactor: Spent acid is thermally decomposed in a fluidized bed furnace. Heat is applied, and the reaction converts iron salts into iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) and recovers hydrochloric acid (HCl) in gaseous form. The regenerated HCl gas is absorbed in water to produce reusable HCl. By-Product: The residue from this process is iron oxide, typically Fe₂O₃, which is collected
