Company Description

ACPCU is a centre of excellence in coffee quality improvement. We have established a strong reputation for producing fine quality organic natural Robusta in south western Uganda. Quality coffee production is the heart of the Union. ACPCU LTD is a registered secondary level co-operative under the laws of Uganda. From a humble beginning in 2006, we have grown into a confident farmer owned coffee co-operative union with over 10,000 individual members from 21 primary co-operative societies exporting over 48,000bags to the market. We are from distinct, multi-ethnic communities stretching across the mountains of south western Uganda; from the fertile soils of Bushenyi to the dramatic heights and sparkling crater lakes of Bunyaruguru. We speak different languages, but we share a common voice: working together as progressive, forward-thinking farmers to market our coffee and improve our livelihoods. Description of our coffee: • Variety: Natural Uganda Robusta coffee. • Geographical area : south western Uganda in districts : Bushenyi, Sheema, Mitooma, Ntungamo, Rubirizi. • Altitude: 1400 – 1850m. • Coffee Grades : Screen 18, 15,14 and 12. • Cup quality : Good cup quality characterized by chocolate, apricot, caramel flavours, heavy body, fresh and attractive fragrance, mild acidity and a score range of 80-83%.
